Thanks for watching my video. I never thought it would reach more than a million views. I don't interact too much because of my poor English. But there are a few things I need to set clear.
1. "Why did you stop at the Milky Way?": Because I didn't have more images.
2. This video is not about God. When I made it I wasn't thinking in God, it's more a video about humility and humanity. But each person interprets the video in a different way, and that's okay.
3. I never said we humans are "insignificant"; saying that the true greatness is not in (or only in) the Earth doesn't mean we are insignificant. I just wanted to say that we humans need to stop thinking we are te greatest thing in the universe, since we don't know the universe well enough to say that. You don't need to be the greatest thing in the universe to be significant.
4. Please excuse my terrible English, I know there are a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes in the video, but the important thing is the message of the video, and I know that the great majority of viewers understand that.
5. "The scales are wrong": This was made two years ago, with some images I found in the web. Besides, as I said before, the important thing is the message. If you want correct scales search in a book and not in YouTube.

Then say size, not significance, which means something obviously different.

So? "Able to crush" alone shouldn't impress anyone.

I don't see significance as having to be agreed upon to be true. We're not insignificant. We don't require validation from Alpha Centuri on that.

That "burning ball of dirt" is able to crush our what we may think is massive planet earth from what can be light years away when measured in distance. just the fact of how big it is can be mind boggling right? who is out there to recognize our "clear significance"? what you think is clear significance and what other life forms think (if there are any) are 2 completely different things.

What makes a burning ball of dirt so significant, however large or great in number?

Human life doesn't require galactic-scale impact in order to be recognized for it's clear significance.

The human brain alone is bogglingly complex and vast in possibility. It's as though we each have a milky way in each of our skulls. If stars weren't so lifeless, they'd have more reason to envy us.

While we're not the same exact religion, I believe in a creator God as well. I also understand the irritation one feels when one's belief is publicly spat upon.

However, the greater issue lies with tolerance. You and I serve our respective faiths better as "likable representatives" than "arguers for".

YouTube is not a good representation of humanity either. It's a pit of hate and contempt and few have the nerve to say to a person's face what they'll say here.

This video is epic, humans are totally insignificant compared to whats out there, we have ventured to the moon and are now studying mars, eventually we will reach what is known as VV Cephei, eventually.

Sorry I get to much hate mail because of my beliefs it is a little annoying when you believe there is no god but one and people start hating you because of it

In the Quran it says Humans are the best creation and it doesn't deny the fact there is life in the sky but that life isn't specified as civilized

..Don't get me wrong Quran is not a book of science. It is a book of guidance it just says stuff here and there se we could ponder over gods creation
