so not to fuck your hole day up buddy but your speculation is wrong if you dont believe me all the information can be found in this video on youtube "david blaine dive of death ABC Live" the announcer even says david missed the platform and the spider cables saved him and that they were only capable of moving within the area surounded by the lights but not able to carry him off into the sky and dissapear. you were born with ears AND eyes use them both
