He didn't take the slide lock spring out. You can take it out with a flat head screwdriver carefully, so you don't bend it. Two more functions tests: empty gun,rack the slide, dont pull the trigger and shake the gun..you shouldnt hear anything. pull the trigger and you should hear the firing pin rattling. That means the improtant stuff is working. Also put an EMPTY mag in, pull the slide back and see if the slide stays in the open position. That'll show if the slide stop is working.

i dont think it tells how to disassemble the firing pin or trigger mechs in the manual, im glad i came across this.

It's not that hard, plus, if you buy a glock at a decent gun store you get manuals for the weapon. And believe it or not, glock has customer support hahah :D

I felt all special because I know how to assemble and disassemble GLOCKS, because I build them as my job, but now I find out it's common knowledge.
That kind of hurt my pride.

I didn't say it was common knowledge. All I'm saying is that it doesn't take a genious to do it, and you get manual and customer support :P

For starters, you need to be interested in shit, you can't just go to a random person on the street and make him figure it out. You know what I mean?
